Austin Creed Reflects on Emotional AEW Debut at Wembley Stadium
Austin Creed recently discussed a significant moment from his AEW debut at Wembley Stadium during the All In pay-per-view event. He was introduced as 'Awesome' Austin Creed, a name he originally used at the beginning of his wrestling career.
Creed, alongside Kofi, made their first appearance in AEW, and he revealed that he only realized the emotional impact of the announcement after watching the event later. He noted that while he did not feel emotional during the entrance, he was moved when he viewed the footage the next day, recalling memories associated with his early career.
He expressed pride in his journey and the support he received from his former tag team partner, Hayden Young. Creed highlighted the significance of debuting at Wembley and the nostalgic connection to his original ring name, marking it as a special moment as he approaches his 40th birthday. The duo has started their AEW career successfully, having won the Trios titles at All In and retained them on AEW Dynamite.
