Bandido to Defend ROH World Championship Against Nick Wayne at Death Before Dishonor

Ring of Honor has revealed that Bandido will defend his ROH World Championship against Nick Wayne at the upcoming Death Before Dishonor event.

This match is set to take place in three weeks, with Wayne previously holding the ROH Television Championship for 387 days before losing it last May. He has also competed internationally in Japan and secured victories in both ROH and AEW since returning to the U.S.

This matchup marks the second encounter between Wayne and Bandido, who previously faced off in May 2022. Additionally, two other title matches are scheduled for the event, including Athena defending the ROH Women’s Championship against Hazuki and Lee Moriarty defending the ROH Pure Championship against Nigel McGuinness. Death Before Dishonor will occur at 7 p.m. EST on August 21 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
