Barcelona Secures Permanent Transfer of Joao Cancelo

Barcelona has confirmed the permanent signing of Joao Cancelo, who has joined the club on a contract that extends until 2029.

This transfer follows Cancelo's previous loan spells at the club, during which he contributed to the team's LaLiga title victory last season. He is now Barcelona's fifth signing of the summer, joining Anthony Gordon, Karim Adeyemi, and Rodri.

The versatile defender, who can play in multiple positions including full-back and right-side midfielder, made 23 appearances for Barcelona last season, scoring two goals.
