Barcelona Signs Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal

Barcelona has officially signed Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal on a permanent basis for a fee of £8.6 million. The deal was confirmed after Jesus completed his medical on Monday.

Jesus, who joined Arsenal from Manchester City in 2022, has struggled for playing time due to injuries and competition from other strikers at the club. His move to Barcelona comes amidst interest from Napoli as well.

This transfer marks Barcelona's third acquisition from the Premier League this summer, following the signings of Anthony Gordon and Rodri. Meanwhile, Arsenal is also pursuing other transfer opportunities, including a potential deal for Julian Alvarez.
