Baron Corbin Discusses His Return to WWE
Baron Corbin, a former two-time United States Champion, has returned to WWE after a year and a half absence. Despite losing the WWE Men's United States Championship to Trick Williams at Sunday Night's Main Event, Corbin expressed satisfaction with being given another opportunity by the organization.
Corbin detailed that he did not reach out to WWE during his time away, believing that if the company wanted him back, they would contact him. He maintained casual communication with Triple H and some talent but did not discuss a potential return until WWE reached out to him.
Before rejoining WWE, Corbin, who previously wrestled as Bishop Dyer, was active in Major League Wrestling (MLW) where he held the MLW World Tag Team Championship alongside Dijak. He relinquished the tag titles to The Good Brothers in a match that aired on August 15.
