Khalifa Diop, a center drafted by the Cavaliers in 2022, is among those unavailable for the game. He has traveled to Cleveland to undergo a medical examination, as reported by José Luis Martínez from Marca. Although no official agreement has been reached, Baskonia is preparing for the possibility of Diop joining the Cavaliers, contingent on the results of his physical.

Diop, who has been with Baskonia since 2023, is considered a candidate for a standard contract with the Cavaliers for the 2026/27 season. The Cavaliers are facing salary cap challenges and may need to sign a rookie to a minimum-salary deal.
