Bath to Play Last Two Home Games Away Due to Stadium Construction
Bath Rugby will relocate its last two home games of the season away from The Rec due to an expedited construction schedule for a new stadium. The matches against Harlequins on May 15 and Saracens on June 5 will be affected by this plan.
If Bath qualifies for a home semi-final, it will also need to be played at an alternative venue. The club is currently in discussions to confirm locations for these fixtures, with the aim of minimizing disruption for supporters.
The final home game of the regular season will take place against Newcastle Red Bulls on April 17. While the overall design of the new stadium remains consistent with the previously approved plans, the club has opted to begin construction on the East Stand first. This decision is part of an effort to reduce the impact of construction on local residents.
