Bayern Munich Coach Vincent Kompany Excluded from Dortmund Match Plans
Bayern Munich has confirmed that coach Vincent Kompany will not participate in the team's plans for the upcoming match against Borussia Dortmund. This decision comes after Kompany's recent hospitalization due to a collapse.
Assistant coach Aaron Danks stated that the team has been instructed not to discuss football with Kompany while he recovers at home. Danks emphasized the importance of allowing Kompany to focus on his recovery and family during this time.
In Kompany's absence, Danks led the team to a 6-1 victory over Magdeburg in the German Cup. The match against Dortmund is expected to see Harry Kane return to play after recently winning the Ballon d'Or. Bayern's training remains consistent, with Kompany's assistants contributing their unique skills to support the team.
Max Eberl, a board member for Bayern, revealed that Kompany was treated for meningeal irritation, alongside previous health issues including a viral infection and a hip injury.
