Bayern Munich Faces Arsenal in Champions League Clash

Bayern Munich will host Arsenal in the Champions League on Wednesday night at the Allianz Arena, with kickoff scheduled for 8pm BST (9pm local time). This match features two former Manchester City colleagues, Vincent Kompany and Mikel Arteta, as both teams seek to secure a place in the top eight.

Arsenal enters the match with a perfect record in Europe, having won all their Champions League games so far, including victories over Napoli and Lille. They recently achieved a 1-0 win against Nottingham Forest, marking their third consecutive win in all competitions. In contrast, Bayern Munich's European journey has been more tumultuous, with a 5-0 win over Bodø/Glimt followed by a dramatic 3-3 draw against Viking. They remain unbeaten in their last ten matches across all competitions.

Key players for Bayern include Alphonso Davies and Joshua Kimmich, while Arsenal will look to Martín Zubimendi, who has returned from injury. Bayern will be without Michael Olise due to a suspension, which could impact their performance. The expected line-ups suggest a competitive match as both teams aim to maintain their strong starts in the tournament.
