B.C. Lions Secure 48-29 Win Against Montreal Alouettes

The B.C. Lions triumphed over the Montreal Alouettes with a score of 48-29 in Vancouver on Saturday, led by Zander Horvath's three touchdowns.

The Lions established an early 17-0 lead, but the Alouettes narrowed the gap to four points before halftime. Quarterback Nathan Rourke completed 24 of 33 passes for 317 yards and contributed a rushing touchdown, while defensive lineman Casey Sayles also scored for B.C. Sean Whyte added two field goals, including a crucial 42-yarder late in the game.

For the Alouettes, Davis Alexander threw for 242 yards and connected with Tyler Snead and Tyson Philpot for touchdowns. Despite a strong effort, including a defensive touchdown from Mustafa Johnson, Montreal could not overcome the Lions' lead. The game concluded a home-and-home series, with the Alouettes having won the previous matchup 37-30.
