Bears Activate Kyler Gordon and Sign Nick McCloud to Active Roster
The Chicago Bears have activated cornerback Kyler Gordon from the physically unable to perform list, allowing him to return to the lineup for their upcoming game against the Falcons. This decision comes after uncertainty expressed by General Manager Ryan Poles in September regarding Gordon's future with the team.
Gordon has been recovering from a calf injury that sidelined him for most of the previous season. In addition to Gordon, the Bears have signed defensive back Nick McCloud to the active roster from the practice squad.
To accommodate these roster changes, the Bears placed defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo on injured reserve and released defensive back Xavier Woods. Furthermore, linebacker Buddy Johnson and running back Zavier Scott have been elevated from the practice squad for the game on Sunday.
