In a television interview, McCaskey revealed that the team is considering two sites for a new stadium: the Lost Marsh Golf Course and the Wolf Lake Terminals. He urged fans to be patient as the decision-making process unfolds, acknowledging that it is time-consuming and deliberate.

While the Bears are exploring options in Indiana, McCaskey reassured fans that the team will retain its name regardless of the location, whether in Arlington Heights, Illinois, or Hammond, Indiana. Bears president and CEO Kevin Warren noted that the focus has shifted to Indiana due to the lack of an offer from the state of Illinois.
