Bears Experience Injury Concerns During Joint Practice with Titans
During a joint practice on Thursday, the Chicago Bears encountered injury concerns as both starting cornerbacks, Jaylon Johnson and Tyrique Stevenson, exited early. This practice was held in collaboration with the Tennessee Titans.
Johnson sustained a right arm injury during 11-on-11 drills but remained on the field without his helmet while being evaluated. Stevenson was injured following a collision with Titans wide receiver Carnell Tate, favoring his right leg before briefly leaving the field with the head trainer. He later returned to practice with the rest of the defensive starters.
The Bears' secondary has already faced significant injury challenges throughout training camp, with Stevenson recently returning to practice and starting safety Coby Bryant expected to miss several months due to a knee injury. The potential loss of either Johnson or Stevenson could severely impact the team's defensive depth, which is already a concern.
