Bears Extend D'Andre Swift's Contract for Three Years

The Chicago Bears have secured running back D'Andre Swift with a three-year contract extension worth $33.75 million, which includes $27.5 million guaranteed. This agreement comes ahead of their Week 1 game against the Carolina Panthers.

Swift was originally entering the final year of a three-year, $24 million contract signed in 2024. With this new deal, he will remain with the Bears for the next four seasons, including the 2026 season.

In the 2025 season, Swift achieved career highs in several categories, including rushing yards with 1,087 and scrimmage yards totaling 1,386. He also recorded nine rushing touchdowns and ten scrimmage touchdowns while playing under head coach Ben Johnson. At 27 years old, Swift is expected to continue contributing significantly to the Bears' offense alongside quarterback Caleb Williams.
