Bears Place Coby Bryant and Hayden Large on Injured Reserve, Re-sign James Lynch and Jack Sanborn
The Chicago Bears made several roster changes, as announced by General Manager Ryan Poles during a press conference on Tuesday.
The team has placed safety Coby Bryant and tight end Hayden Large on injured reserve, with both players eligible to return later this season. However, Bryant's recent knee surgery may prevent him from playing for the remainder of the year.
To fill the vacant roster spots, the Bears have re-signed defensive lineman James Lynch and linebacker Jack Sanborn, both of whom were released over the weekend. Lynch joined the Bears this offseason after playing in 34 games for the Titans in the past two seasons, while Sanborn returned to the Bears after spending three seasons with the team and a stint with the Cowboys in 2025.
