Bears Promote Zavier Scott and Buddy Johnson for Game Against Patriots

The Chicago Bears have elevated running back Zavier Scott and linebacker Buddy Johnson from their practice squad ahead of their Thursday night matchup against the New England Patriots.

This marks Scott's third consecutive game with the team, during which he has participated in 30 special teams snaps over the past two weeks. His addition comes as the Bears seek depth while Kyle Monangai remains sidelined.

Buddy Johnson made his season debut last week, recording two tackles in a victory over Atlanta. The Bears will be missing linebacker Jack Sanborn for the game, and T.J. Edwards is listed as doubtful.
