The Chicago Bears have promoted running back Zavier Scott and linebacker Buddy Johnson from their practice squad to the active roster ahead of their game against the New England Patriots.
Zavier Scott, 27, initially joined the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent from Maine in 2023. After being waived due to an injury settlement, he returned to the practice squad and later joined the Minnesota Vikings, where he played in 16 games in 2025, recording 32 rushing attempts for 114 yards and one touchdown.
Buddy Johnson also received a call-up for the game, marking a significant opportunity for both players to contribute to the Bears' efforts this evening.
