Bears' S Coby Bryant Expected to Miss 4-6 Months After Knee Surgery

Bears head coach Ben Johnson confirmed that S Coby Bryant underwent knee surgery and is now anticipated to be out for four to six months.

This recovery period is notably longer than the previously reported 8-10 week timeline following an injury sustained during practice. Although there remains a slight possibility for him to return this season, he is expected to miss the majority of the games.

Bryant, who was initially diagnosed with a bone bruise and fracture, is a 26-year-old player who was drafted in the fourth round by the Seahawks in 2022. He recently signed a three-year, $40 million contract with the Bears after completing his rookie contract.
