Bears Set to Face Packers with Backup Quarterback
The Chicago Bears are preparing to face the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, with backup quarterback Tyson Bagent taking the lead as Caleb Williams is sidelined due to a hamstring injury.
In their previous game, the Bears secured a 23-12 victory over the New York Jets, primarily relying on a strong ground game led by Kyle Monangai, who rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns. Bagent, who has previously dealt with a concussion, completed 25 of 34 passes for 268 yards and one interception in that match.
The Packers, currently at 2-2, are looking to achieve consecutive wins after narrowly defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17-14. They are also dealing with injuries, including a season-ending injury to linebacker Edgerrin Cooper. Quarterback Jordan Love has shown improvement, throwing two touchdown passes in each game this season, although he has also thrown interceptions in consecutive matches.
