Bears Sign Offensive Lineman Wesley French

The Chicago Bears have strengthened their offensive line by signing Wesley French to their 90-man roster on Tuesday.

This move comes alongside the waiver of safety Brandon Hill, who had recently joined the team. French, who entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie with the Colts in 2022, participated in every game for Indianapolis during the 2023 season but spent 2024 on injured reserve and was part of practice squads in Dallas and Cleveland last year.

Hill's release coincides with the announcement that Coby Bryant will be sidelined for four to six months following knee surgery, indicating that the Bears may be considering additional adjustments to their safety lineup.
