Beau Hossler Maintains Lead at Wyndham Championship

Beau Hossler retained his lead at the Wyndham Championship, shooting a second-round score of 67 on Friday at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina.

After starting the tournament with a remarkable 61, Hossler now stands at 12-under-par 128, just one stroke ahead of Ben James, who also shot a 67, and Jordan Smith from England, who posted a 64. A significant tie for fourth place includes ten players at 9 under par.

To qualify for the playoffs, only the top 70 in the FedEx Cup standings will advance. Hossler, who began the week ranked 122, is projected to move up to No. 53 if current results hold. Smith, currently at No. 68, is likely to secure his spot in the top 70 after making the cut. James, a recent professional, is also in contention for his first PGA Tour victory.
