Becky Lynch recently shared that she was not WWE's first choice for the inaugural SmackDown Women's Championship, a title she won in 2016 during a six-pack elimination match at Backlash.

Lynch triumphed over competitors including Natalya, Naomi, Nikki Bella, Carmella, and Alexa Bliss to become the first-ever champion. However, she indicated that WWE had initially planned for Nikki Bella to win the title.
