Becky Lynch's WWE Absence Due to Fractured Vertebra, Seth Rollins Reveals
Becky Lynch's recent absence from WWE was attributed to a fractured vertebra, as revealed by her husband Seth Rollins. This injury prevented her from competing for approximately six weeks.
Rollins shared these details during an appearance on a talk show, noting that Lynch's injury had not been publicly disclosed prior. He expressed some lingering concerns about her health despite her return to the ring on October 5, where she faced Liv Morgan in a match to determine the next challenger for the Women’s World Championship.
Although Lynch's return match ended in disqualification due to interference from the reigning champion, Stephanie Vaquer, it set the stage for a triple threat match involving Lynch, Morgan, and Vaquer at the upcoming Money in the Bank event on October 10 in New Orleans. Rollins expressed relief that Lynch would not participate in the physically demanding Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
