Bella Mir Set to Compete for UFC Contract on August 25

Bella Mir is scheduled to fight Alex Apodaca on August 25 during Week 3 of the Contender Series, with the event taking place at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas.

Mir, who is the daughter of former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir, enters the match with an undefeated professional record of 4-0, all victories achieved by first-round submission. She recently concluded her college wrestling career with an NCAA national title at 145 pounds and aims to be the first active UFC fighter to compete in the Olympics, targeting the 2028 Summer Games.

Apodaca, on the other hand, comes into the fight with a record of 3-1, having won her last match by unanimous decision against Devon McDonald at Fury FC 122 on July 24. The Contender Series' Season 10 kicks off on August 11.
