Bella Mir to Headline Dana White's Contender Series Week 3

Bella Mir, the daughter of former UFC champion Frank Mir, is set to headline week three of Dana White's Contender Series. This event will take place on August 25 at the UFC Apex, where Mir will face Alex Apodaca in a women's bantamweight match.

At 23 years old, Bella Mir has built a professional record of 4-0 and has been competing in the UFC's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu promotion. She made history by signing an amateur NIL deal with the UFC while in college wrestling.

Mir aims to secure a UFC contract and potentially rise through the 135lb rankings, which are in need of new contenders. Last year, she expressed her ambition to compete in prelim fights before pursuing gold at the 2028 Olympics. Her last MMA match was in July, where she achieved her third submission victory.
