Ben King, a prominent forward for the Gold Coast Suns, has officially expressed his desire to enter free agency, as confirmed by the club.

This announcement concludes months of speculation regarding his future, particularly as he has spent much of his career with the Suns since being drafted sixth overall in 2018. A return to his home state of Victoria seems probable, with Hawthorn positioned as the frontrunner to acquire the 26-year-old player.
