Ben Stokes Expresses Aspiration to Coach England Cricket Team
Ben Stokes, the former captain of England's cricket team, has revealed his ambition to coach the national team in the future, believing he possesses the necessary experience for the role.
The 35-year-old all-rounder retired from international cricket in June during a Test series against New Zealand, concluding a career highlighted by England's 2019 World Cup victory and a remarkable innings in the Ashes. Stokes had been leading the Test side since 2022 before stepping down.
Currently pursuing his Level 3 coaching certification while still active as a player, Stokes aims to be prepared for a coaching role once his playing days are over. He expressed confidence in his ability to make significant decisions and lead effectively. Additionally, he commented on Harry Brook, the limited overs skipper, calling him exceptionally talented despite his struggles as a Test captain.
