Bengals Rookie Ceyair Wright Leaves Team to Pursue Acting Career
The Cincinnati Bengals announced that rookie cornerback Ceyair Wright has left the team to pursue other opportunities. This decision was made public on Saturday, and he will be placed on the left squad/exempt list, meaning he will not count against the team's 90-man roster.
Wright, who joined the Bengals as an undrafted free agent after playing at USC and Nebraska, has already gained recognition in Hollywood. He appeared in Space Jam: A New Legacy as LeBron James' son and had a regular role on the TV show Grown-ish from 2022 to 2023.
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor mentioned that Wright informed the team of his decision on Friday night, noting that his passions were converging. While Wright has not publicly detailed his future plans, his background in acting suggests a clear direction for his career.
