Benjamin Brahmer of Penn State Football Named to Lombardi Award Watch List
Penn State football tight end Benjamin Brahmer has been selected for the Lombardi Award Watch List, as announced by the organization on Wednesday.
The Lombardi Award honors the college football player who exemplifies the values of legendary NFL coach Vince Lombardi, focusing on leadership, courage, performance, and discipline. Brahmer, who is in his fourth year of eligibility, previously earned Second-Team All-Big 12 honors and was a semifinalist for the John Mackey Award.
Last season, Brahmer recorded 37 receptions for 446 yards and six touchdowns, bringing his career totals to 75 catches for 977 yards and nine touchdowns. He transferred to Penn State from Iowa State, following coach Matt Campbell, after the departures of teammates Luke Reynolds and Andrew Olesh.
