Big Ten and SEC Implement Ban on Former NFL Players in College Sports

SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey will have the authority to enforce punishments for any violations.
Other conferences, including the Big 12 and ACC, are considering similar bans amid legal uncertainties surrounding players attempting to return to college football after signing professional contracts. The Big Ten's policy specifically targets players who have signed professional contracts or declared for the NFL draft.
