Big Ten Implements Increased Player Availability Reports

The Big Ten Conference has introduced a new policy mandating four player availability reports each week, effective immediately. This decision, announced on Friday, aims to address concerns surrounding the integrity of college football as sports betting becomes more prevalent.

Under the new rule, teams must submit reports three days prior to a game, detailing player statuses as probable, questionable, doubtful, or out. A final report will be issued on game day, categorizing players as game-time decisions, out, or out for the first half.
