Bijan Robinson Becomes Highest-Paid Running Back in NFL History
Bijan Robinson has secured a three-year, $75 million contract extension with the Atlanta Falcons, making him the highest-paid running back in NFL history, as reported by NFL Media.
The new deal, which will take effect in 2028, features an average annual value of $25 million and guarantees of $51 million, both records for the position. Previously, Saquon Barkley held the record with a two-year, $41.2 million extension.
Robinson, who has been a Pro Bowler for the last two seasons, had an impressive 2025 season, rushing for 1,478 yards and earning his first All-Pro honor. The Falcons have also made significant moves this offseason, signing several key players to long-term contracts.
