Bijan Robinson Signs $75 Million Extension with Falcons
Bijan Robinson, running back for the Atlanta Falcons, has finalized a contract extension that could reach a maximum of $75 million over three years, as reported by multiple sources. This agreement comes as the Falcons aim to resolve Robinson's 'hold in' status during training camp.
With this new deal, Robinson is set to become the highest-paid running back in NFL history, receiving $51 million guaranteed and a signing bonus of $37 million. The player, selected as the No. 8 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, recorded 2,298 total yards and 11 touchdowns in 2025, earning a first-team All-Pro designation.
Robinson had been participating in offseason activities but was sidelined during training camp while awaiting a resolution on his contract. Prior to this extension, he was already under contract for the 2026 season, and the Falcons had exercised his fifth-year option for 2027. This extension follows a trend of long-term contracts for key players on the team, including Drake London and Kyle Pitts, since Matt Ryan took on the role of team president of football.
