The university is conducting an internal investigation prompted by a complaint from a former employee, which includes inquiries into alleged inappropriate relationships within the program. Belichick confirmed he has communicated with Lombardi since his resignation but did not disclose details of their discussions. He reiterated the importance of maintaining high standards and proper conduct within the program.
