Bills Release Mecole Hardman and Mitch Wishnowsky as Roster Cuts Begin

The Buffalo Bills are reducing their roster from 90 to 53 players and have released veteran wide receiver Mecole Hardman and punter Mitch Wishnowsky.

Mecole Hardman, who previously scored the game-winning touchdown for the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII, joined the Bills late last season and caught a touchdown pass during their playoff loss to the Broncos. He is now set to become a free agent.

Additionally, the Bills have opted to cut punter Mitch Wishnowsky, who was competing with rookie Tommy Doman for the position. Doman has emerged as the winner in this training camp competition. The deadline for all NFL teams to finalize their active rosters is 6 p.m. ET tomorrow.
