Monroe, who joined WWE SmackDown a few months ago, has not yet encountered Ripley, who is currently recovering from a knee injury. In a recent interview, Monroe mentioned that she has never met Ripley and speculated that Ripley might be scared of her following her debut.

Ripley is expected to be out for the remainder of 2026 after undergoing surgery for a torn meniscus. In her absence, Chelsea Green has become the Interim WWE Women's Champion, although she is also dealing with an injury. Monroe aims to advance in the SmackDown ranks to pursue a title shot, having previously achieved success in AEW and NXT.
