Blake Monroe Set for WWE SmackDown Debut Match

Blake Monroe is scheduled to make her in-ring debut on WWE SmackDown, competing against Giulia. This announcement follows Monroe's initial in-ring appearance where she ambushed Giulia back in June.

During a digital exclusive segment after this week's SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis spoke with Monroe, who expressed her desire to challenge Chelsea Green for the WWE Women's Championship. Aldis advised her to cease her backstage attacks on various wrestlers, including Candice LeRae and Kiana James, and arranged for her to face Giulia in the ring.

Monroe has been part of the main roster for 50 days and has participated in dark matches, including a victory over Jordynne Grace on May 15. Both Monroe and Giulia share a history as former competitors in World Wonder Ring STARDOM in Japan, where they previously faced each other in a notable match during the 2023 5Star Grand Prix Tournament.
