Borussia Dortmund Secures Ethan Nwaneri on Loan from Arsenal

Borussia Dortmund has reached an agreement with Arsenal to sign forward Ethan Nwaneri on a season-long loan. This move comes after Dortmund's new signing, Giannis Konstantelias, suffered a serious knee injury during a recent match against Hamburg.

Nwaneri, who is 19 years old, previously had a loan stint at Marseille in the latter half of last season. Dortmund had shown interest in acquiring him last summer as well. He is expected to travel to Germany for a medical examination and to finalize the transfer before the Bundesliga deadline.

Arsenal has indicated that they prefer loan arrangements for Nwaneri rather than a permanent sale, as he has garnered interest from various clubs in the Premier League and across Europe. Given the depth of attacking options available to manager Mikel Arteta, Nwaneri is likely to receive more playing time at Dortmund.
