Borussia Dortmund Signs Ethan Nwaneri on Loan from Arsenal

Borussia Dortmund has secured a season-long loan for Arsenal attacking midfielder Ethan Nwaneri. The 19-year-old player, who made history in 2022 as the youngest debutant in Premier League history, is set to contribute to Dortmund after a previous loan spell at Marseille.

Nwaneri, who has scored 10 goals for Arsenal and netted twice during his time at Marseille, joins Dortmund following a significant injury to new signing Giannis Konstantelias, who suffered a torn ACL in his debut match against Hamburg.

Lars Ricken, Dortmund’s Managing Director of Sports, expressed satisfaction with the signing, emphasizing Nwaneri's talent and the necessity to strengthen the squad quickly due to Konstantelias's injury.
