Bournemouth Set for Historic European Home Match Against Sturm Graz

Bournemouth is preparing to face Sturm Graz in their inaugural European home match on Thursday, October 15, at the Vitality Stadium, kicking off at 8pm BST.

This encounter marks a significant moment for Bournemouth, who are seeking to recover from a recent 5-1 defeat to Chelsea, leaving them winless in their first six Premier League matches. However, they have found success in Europe, having secured a 2-1 victory against Real Sociedad in their opening Europa League match.

Sturm Graz, the reigning Austrian runners-up, are coming off a 2-0 win against Austria Vienna and will look to improve their poor away record in European competitions. Both teams face injury challenges, with Bournemouth missing several key players, while Sturm Graz has also listed multiple absentees. The match presents an opportunity for Bournemouth to shift focus from their domestic struggles and deliver a strong performance.
