Braden Smith Activated from Injured Reserve by Texans
Offensive tackle Braden Smith has been activated from injured reserve by the Houston Texans, as announced on Wednesday.
Smith had been sidelined due to a foot injury since before Week 1 but returned to practice last week. He signed a two-year contract with the Texans this offseason after spending eight seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, where he started 105 of 107 games.
In addition to Smith's activation, the Texans also activated defensive tackle Kayden McDonald and safety M.J. Stewart in Week 5. Currently, wide receiver Tank Dell is the only player still in the return-to-play process. The Texans have also added quarterback Mark Gronowski and wide receiver Bryce Oliver to their practice squad after both were waived from the active roster last week.
