Bradley Barcola Scores Twice in Liverpool's Champions League Victory
In a decisive Champions League match, Bradley Barcola scored two goals, helping Liverpool take a 3-0 lead against LASK Linz. Ronald Araujo also contributed to the scoreline with a header in the 22nd minute.
Liverpool made four changes to their lineup following a recent loss to Manchester City, with captain Virgil van Dijk among those omitted. Araujo, who was shifted to center-back from right-back, opened the scoring from a corner delivered by Konstantinos Tsimikas.
Barcola, who joined Liverpool from Paris Saint-Germain for £123 million, responded to prior criticism by scoring his first goals for the club. He found the net shortly after Araujo's goal and then added another with a close-range finish after a pass from Florian Wirtz.
