Bradley Cooper Films 'Ocean's Eleven' Prequel in Monaco

Bradley Cooper and Margot Robbie have been filming scenes in Monaco for an upcoming prequel to Ocean's Eleven. The production took place over the past week, with a significant film crew on site.

The story is set against the backdrop of the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix, during which the famous street circuit was transformed to resemble the 1960s from August 24 to 28, featuring replica vintage Formula 1 cars. The untitled Warner Bros. project, currently shooting under the working title Sandcastles, is directed and written by Cooper, who also stars alongside Robbie as the parents of Danny Ocean.

Other cast members include Wagner Moura, Monica Barbaro, Josh Gad, Vicky Krieps, George MacKay, Lauren Ridloff, Jack Holden, and Omar Sy. The film showcases several iconic locations in Monaco, such as Port Hercule and Avenue Princesse Grace, and is set to be released on June 25, 2027.
