Brady Tkachuk to Donate Jerseys Thrown on Ice During Return to Ottawa
Brady Tkachuk, a forward for the Florida Panthers, has announced his intention to donate any jerseys thrown onto the ice during his return game to Ottawa on Wednesday. This decision was shared on his podcast, where he expressed a commitment to support the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa.
Tkachuk, who requested a trade to join his brother Matthew in Florida, previously served as captain of the Ottawa Senators. His return is expected to be met with strong reactions from Senators fans, who may express their feelings through boos.
During his time with the Senators, Tkachuk recorded 213 goals and 250 assists, totaling 463 points in 572 games. He also led the team to consecutive playoff appearances in the last two seasons, although his relationship with the franchise deteriorated after representing the U.S. in the 2026 Winter Olympics.
