Brandon Clarke's Autopsy Report Reveals Cause of Death

The Los Angeles County medical examiner's office disclosed that Brandon Clarke, a former forward for the Memphis Grizzlies, died from an accidental overdose of heroin and cocaine. The full autopsy report was made public on Monday, detailing the circumstances surrounding his death.

Clarke's roommate informed authorities that the player had a history of drug use and had previously undergone rehabilitation. After being urged by Clarke's agent to check on him, the roommate found Clarke unresponsive in his bedroom. The report also noted that while multiple prescription medications were initially cited as contributing factors, they were found to be within therapeutic levels.

In addition to the drugs, various items were discovered in Clarke's residence, including vape devices, cannabis products, and syringes. Clarke, who had been a prominent reserve player in the NBA, faced significant injuries in recent seasons and averaged 10.2 points and 5.5 rebounds over his career with the Grizzlies.
