Braves Aim to Extend Winning Streak Against Marlins
The Atlanta Braves will begin a three-game home series against the Miami Marlins on Tuesday, following a five-game winning streak. Right-hander Grant Holmes is set to take the mound for Atlanta.
Since the All-Star break, the Braves have performed well, achieving a 12-5 record, including a recent four-game sweep of the Washington Nationals. They currently lead the National League East by eight games over the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Marlins have bounced back from a franchise-record 12-game losing streak, winning six of their last seven games, including three consecutive victories against the New York Mets. They are currently 1.5 games away from the final wild-card spot. Marlins manager Clayton McCullough noted the team's resilience and ability to move past challenges.
