Braves Make Roster Change Ahead of Rockies Series

This decision follows the Braves' waiver claim of pitcher Ricky Vanasco from the Detroit Tigers, necessitating a roster spot for his activation at the Triple-A level. Davitt, who is 26 years old, was acquired from the Chicago White Sox earlier this month and made his major-league debut this season.

Davitt's performance in the minors has been inconsistent, with a 6.24 ERA over more than 66 innings at Triple-A. His recent results contributed to the decision to send him down, allowing him to work on his skills in a less pressured environment.
