
Breece Hall Scores to Extend Jets' Lead Against Titans
The New York Jets scored a touchdown on their initial offensive drive in Tennessee on Sunday, followed by another touchdown on their first possession of the second half.
Running back Breece Hall ran around the left side for a four-yard touchdown, extending the Jets' lead to 17-7 with 9:41 remaining in the third quarter. Hall's performance included 14 carries for 49 yards and two receptions for 16 yards.
This touchdown occurred shortly after quarterback Geno Smith completed a 40-yard pass to wide receiver Adonai Mitchell and a 31-yard connection with Garrett Wilson. Smith's stats for the game show he is 14-of-18 for 169 yards in his first start for the Jets since 2016. The team is also dealing with injuries to safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and wide receiver Omar Cooper, both of whom have been ruled out for Week 2.
