Breece Hall Suffers Groin Strain During Jets Practice
New York Jets running back Breece Hall sustained a groin strain during practice on Monday and is set to undergo tests to evaluate the extent of the injury.
During the latter part of the practice, Hall caught a pass but then pulled up and fell on the wet grass. He was seen walking gingerly to the sidelines, where trainers examined his upper right thigh and abdomen area. Coach Aaron Glenn expressed cautious optimism regarding the injury, suggesting it may not be serious.
Hall, who recently signed a three-year contract extension worth up to $45.75 million, is a vital player for the Jets, having rushed for over 1,000 yards last season. If he is unable to participate in upcoming practices or games, backup running back Braelon Allen may take on a starting role, as other options in the backfield are also dealing with injuries.
