Breece Hall to Miss Two to Three Weeks Due to Groin Strain
Breece Hall, the running back for the New York Jets, is set to be out for two to three weeks due to a strained groin. Despite this injury, he is anticipated to be ready for the team's regular-season opener.
During practice, Hall sustained the injury after catching a pass and falling on the wet grass. Coach Aaron Glenn noted that tests revealed the injury is not severe, allowing for a hopeful return. Hall, who had his first 1,000-yard rushing season last year, is a crucial player for the Jets' offense.
In Hall's absence, Braelon Allen will take on the starting role, while Kene Nwangwu and undrafted rookies Sam Scott and Chip Trayanum will provide additional support in the backfield. Additionally, linebacker Mykal Walker is expected to miss a similar timeframe with a calf injury but should be back for the Week 1 game against Tennessee.
